DETROIT (WXYZ) – If you’re looking for something to do in Metro Detroit this weekend, there are events happening for all ages to enjoy.
The Corktown Music Festival and Detroit Whiskey Festival are both returning this weekend. Paw Patrol Live! Problems of families will be solved, there will be singing and dancing.
Here is a list of seven things to do in D this weekend:
- Friday 6 PM to 8 PM
- The Hawk – Farmington Hills Community Center at 29995 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills
- The Hawk Community Center in Farmington Hills is hosting a Family Fun Night on Fridays. Families are asked to dress in their favorite superhero or royalty attire for the event. There will be an obstacle course, bouncers, crafts, a photo booth and music to dance to. A hot dog and macaroni and cheese dinner is being sponsored by Busch’s Fresh Food Market.
- Friday and Saturday at 7 pm
- Five locations in Detroit’s Corktown
- Hundreds of people will flock to the Corktown Music Festival this weekend. The annual event highlights more than 70 local artists at five venues. A portion of the proceeds will go to 4 Paws 1 Heart, a nonprofit working to reduce the number of homeless cats and dogs in the area by paying for needed medical treatment and assisting with permanent placement. Five venues – Lager House, Nancy Whiskey, Batch Brewery, The Gaelic League and 2000 Brooklyn – are hosting musical acts. Attendees may pay $20 to enter all locations on both days.
- Friday 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Shed 3 at Eastern Market at 2934 Russell Street in Detroit
- The Detroit Whiskey Festival returns for the sixth time on Friday. Held at Eastern Market, the event offers visitors the chance to taste samples of 15 spirits and cocktails. Food will be available inside for purchase. Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
Fall Back In Love Comedy & Music Tour

- Little Caesars Arena at 2645 Woodward Avenue in Detroit
- R&B music lovers and comedy fans can experience it this weekend during the Fall Back in Love Comedy & Music Tour. The event features singers Trey Songz, Mario, Jackies, Lil Duvall, Monica and August Alsina. Comedians Emmanuel Hudson, Conceited, Zoey Fenty, Defnik Springs and Brandon T. Jackson will provide the laughs. DJ NV will be on turntables.
- Tuesday to Saturday at 8pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and Sunday at 7:30pm
- Fisher Theater at 3011 W Grand Boulevard in Detroit
- “Jesus Christ Superstar” returns to the stage with a “spooky new production” to celebrate 50 years. Organizers say the award-winning production appeals to both theater and concert music fans. The production will show “the events during the last weeks of the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas.”
- Friday 2 PM to 7 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM
- Suburban Collection Showplace at 46100 Grand River Ave in Novi
- With spring and summer approaching, The Michigan Golf Show is helping golfers get ready for the season. If you are looking for new clubs or equipment, this event may be just what you need. Friday will be a buy one get one free deal for women. Juniors can get free training on hitting nets on Saturdays. All veterans can go for free on Sundays.

- Fox Theater at 2211 Woodward Avenue in Detroit
- Paw Patrol Live! Fox Theater is coming this weekend with an interactive live stage show. Viewers will become members of the pack as the protagonists and help the pups solve puzzles and help them get back to Adventure Bay. Guests will see “stunning visual effects” during the show as the music will have guests singing and dancing.
