Montgomery police are investigating a death after a man’s body was found Friday afternoon.
Major Saba Coleman said Montgomery police and fire paramedics reported a body found in the 2200 block of East Sixth Street at about 1:15 p.m. Friday.
At the scene, officers encountered a man who fled into a home.
Coleman said the person of interest eventually surrendered and was taken into custody “without incident”.
Police found the body of a middle-aged man at the scene.
The circumstances under which the person died till Friday afternoon are being investigated.
