Nashville, Tenn. (WTVF) – It’s been three years since tornadoes struck Nashville and parts of middle Tennessee.
The Attaboy Over in East Nashville was not only damaged, but two employees died: Michael Dolfini and Albree Sexton.
“He embodies a lot of what’s important to us at Attaboy, and it’s being kind and warm and welcoming and hard-working and passionate,” said Brandon Bramhall, Attaboy’s managing partner.
When Attaboy found part of the building damaged, he also saw water and mold damage. That night Bramhall said he had a bar full of people and the building was standing, but said you can’t forget the loss of life. He said that this day is a mixture of emotions.
Positively, he recalls the strength of community, but on the other hand, it is a day of loss, trauma and stress.
“We’re more in tune with the weather. We’re more aware of risk factors and we’re proactive, not reactive when it comes to tornado watches, warnings of things of that nature, but you know I consider myself And my business partners think about our core values, it’s always been people first. It’s staff first,” Bramhall said.
