MTSU Represented at the Grammys

Murfreesboro, Tenn. (WTVF — Five Middle Tennessee State University alumni are among the many Grammy nominations they could win at the 65th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

Rob Wilford is nominated for Best Country Song as co-writer with Luke Combs.

Aaron Ratiere is included on Ashley McBride’s album which is nominated for Best Country Album.

Brandon Bell worked with artist Brandi Carlile, who has been nominated in several categories.

Tony Castle is nominated for engineering Willie Nelson’s latest country album.

And finally, Hillary Scott is nominated for Contemporary Christian Music Performance of a Song, which she performed with the sibling duo, For King and Country.

MTSU students, faculty and alumni have contributed to 134 Grammy nominations over the past two decades.
