Honolulu (KHON2) – chick-Fshe has There are plans to open more restaurants in Hawaii over the next five years.
According to the popular chicken chain, the Makki restaurant is scheduled to open this spring and Chick-fil-A Kapolei Parkway and Kualakai are slated to open later this year.
Each new restaurant will add approximately 80 to 120 jobs to the local community including opportunities for flexible working hours and leadership development within the company.
This popular chain offers its employees a competitive salary, benefits, hands-on training and mentorship, along with the opportunity to apply for scholarships to help further their education.
After opening the first Chick-fil-A on Maui, the organization donated $25,000 to the Maui Food Bank, and after opening their second location on Oahu, they donated $25,000 to the Hawaii Foodbank.
The organization said they are still donating their surplus food to local shelters, soup kitchens and through charities across the country Chick-fil-A Shared Table,
So far, they’ve helped serve 15 million meals from Shared Table donations and there are more than 1,300 participating Chick-fil-A restaurants in Canada and the US.
