Accused of shooting in Green Hills neighborhood

Nashville, Tenn. (WTVF) – A man has been arrested following an attack on a woman on Jan. 30 in the Green Hills neighborhood.

Metro Nashville Police say a 26-year-old woman was walking on Trimble Road on Esteswood Drive when two men jumped out of a dark sedan, possibly a Dodge Avenger, and attempted to rob her of her cell phone. Three bullets have been fired in the hand and leg of the woman.

MNPD Tweeted that Michael A. Green, 19, was taken into custody on Sunday morning.

Authorities say Green allegedly used his Dodge Avenger sedan during the attack.

Green was charged with especially aggravated robbery and especially aggravated attempted kidnapping for assaulting and shooting a 26-year-old woman.

Green also faces charges of carjacking, using a firearm as a dangerous felony and unlawful firearm possession.

The investigation is ongoing as police continue to seek at least one other suspect.
