Less than two months after Ziggy Bombs opened its first restaurant in downtown Worcester, owner Mike Davish is already planning his second.
The popular steak-and-cheese restaurant, which began as a pop-up and later a food truck, will open this spring at 1072 Main St., Leicester, Devish announced Wednesday.
“We could not be prouder to make Leicester, Mass., our second home now,” they wrote in a Facebook post.
Devish tells MassLive that Leicester is where he first started selling his steak-and-cheese sandwiches, so it made sense to move back to the city for a second location.
He said the new restaurant will have everything loyal customers have come to know from the Worcester one.
“We’re doing a major renovation to make it look like our Worcester location,” he said.
The Leicester restaurant is expected to open this spring.
