Employers Are Hiring, But Where Are the Employees? A new town hall program on PBS Hawaii is addressing just that. The show will also discuss the effects on consumers.
“I think everyone is feeling it. Whether you’re in the hotel industry, in the restaurant industry, in the non-profit world, you’re not going to find employees,” said Ron Mizutani, president and CEO of PBS Hawaii.
The City and County of Honolulu has over 3,000 job opportunities, PBS Hawaii has jobs that have been vacant for over two years, there are jobs – waiting to be filled.
The Town Hall will be attended by representatives from all industries.
