Live Updates: No. 4 Alabama trying to stay true against SEC at Missouri

Conference play continues for No. 4 Alabama on Saturday against Missouri. After an emotional win at Vanderbilt on Tuesday, the Crimson Tide improved to a 16-2 record for their seventh-straight SEC win and eighth overall.

The Tigers (14-4, 3-3) most recently received votes in the AP Poll after comeback victories against no. 25 Arkansas. Like most teams, Missouri is strong at home, shooting 3-pointers at an even better clip (36.9) and generating turnovers. Opposing freshman Brandon Miller (20.1 points per game) will be the duo of senior forward Kobe Brown (from Huntsville) and grad-student guard D’Moi Hodge. The upperclassmen combine for 30.2 points a game.

Nate Oates has so far led Alabama to victories at Mizzou Arena in three tries. Oates has “addressed” possible taunts aimed at the Tide following the arrest of Darius Miles earlier this month.

Tipoff at 5 p.m. will air on the SEC Network. Refresh this page for live updates as Brandon Miller and Tide look to stay perfect at the conference.
