WYANDOTTE, Michigan (WXYZ) – Michigan State Police are asking the public to help a trooper who was seriously injured while investigating an accident in Detroit in December.
MSP says Soldier Anna Humes was injured on December 23, 2022. She was responding to an accident on I-94 near Cheyne Street.
State police said Hume is off duty for 12 to 18 months. MSP announced how people can donate To Humes and his family.
The Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser is being held at the Wyandotte Fraternal Order of Police Lodge on March 3 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
All-you-can-eat dinner includes spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad. The cost of the dinner is $20 for adults, $5 for on-duty first responders and $5 for children under 16. Children under 5 years of age eat for free.
