American plane collided with dirt in BOI

American Airlines flight 2290 from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Boise (BOI) had some problems reaching the gate.

Aircraft arriving at BOI on 16 January veered off the tarmac and into gravel while taxiing to the terminal, resulting in passengers having to be removed via a ladder and carried to the terminal.

No one was reported to be injured.

The airline apologized for the inconvenience, saying they never intend to disrupt the travel plans of their customers.

American says the safety of their customers and crew is their top priority. The Boeing 737 has been taken out of service for a full inspection by a US maintenance team.
