One person is dead in a Mesa apartment, police are investigating

MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — One person is dead after a shooting at a Mesa apartment Sunday morning.

Mesa police were called to an apartment complex at Northeast Southern Avenue and Dobson Road between 4:30 and 5:30 Sunday. When officers arrived, they found a person dead from a gunshot wound. The police have not released the person’s identity or any other information about them.

Mesa police are investigating, and there are no details on what led to the shooting.
