Stock indices in Japan rose at the end of today’s session;  Nikkei 225 Index up 1.03%

Investing.com – Japanese stocks rose after the close on Monday, as sector and sector gains drove stocks higher.

At the close in Tokyo, it was up 1.03%.

It was the best performance of the session on Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd. (TYO :), which gained 5.48% or 28.00 points and had a price of 539.00 at the close. while, Nippon Usain K (TYO 🙂 added 5.35% or 132.00 pips to close at 2,599.00 and Shinsei Bank, Ltd. (TYO: It rose 5.06% or 105.00 points to 2,180.00 in late trading.

As for the weakest performers at the end of trading today, Kansai Electric Power Co Inc (TYO::) stock closed down at 5.28% or 64.00 points and traded at 1,148.00 at the close. Unitica Ltd. (TYO 🙂 It fell 5.03% or 15.00 pips to close at 283.00 and Maruha Nichiro Company (TYO 🙂 It fell 4.47% or 110.00 points to 2350.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 1860 to 1711, while 205 closed unchanged.

The Nikkei, which measures the implied volatility of Nikkei 225 options, rose 5.19% to 26.33, a new 3-month high.

Crude oil for November delivery rose 3.66%, or 2.91, to $82.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent oil for December delivery rose 3.58%, or $3.05 to $88.19 a barrel, while gold futures for December were down 0.02%, or $0.40, to trade at $1,671.60 an ounce.

USD/JPY rose 0.11% to 144.91, while EUR/JPY rose 0.30% to 142.26.

US Dollar Index futures fell 0.11% to 111.96.
