BENGALURU (Reuters) – JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:) said on Monday it has appointed former Reliance Industries CEO Navin Wadwani as head of its India investment banking business as part of a series of management changes for the Asia Pacific region.
Wadhwani has headed mergers and acquisitions of oil-to-retail business Reliance for the past 10 years and was previously a Senior Managing Director at Rothschild India.
JPM has also appointed Kaustop Kulkarni as India’s Senior Officer with effect from 1 November. He will continue in his position as Vice President for the Asia Pacific region. Kulkarni replaces Madhav Kalyan, who will now head the US banking giant’s Asia Pacific Payments.
Vineet Mishra will become the sole Head of Investment Banking in Southeast Asia.
PD Singh, currently Head of Corporate Banking at JPM in India, has been appointed as Interim CEO of c. B. Morgan Chase Bank of India from 1 November.
