Investing.com – U.S. stocks rose after the close on Monday, with gains in all sectors, led by higher stocks.
At the close on the New York Stock Exchange, the index rose by 0.64%, while the index rose by 0.69%, and the index rose by 0.76%.

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:) fell 0.80% or 1.34 points to 166.26, and Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ:) fell 0.35% or 0.12 points to 34.15.
The best performer in the S&P 500 was Westrock Company (NYSE :), which rose 5.46% to 36.02, the Mosaic Company (NYSE: which rose 5.11% to settle at 54.87 and packaging company of America (NYSE:) which rose 5.10% to close at 124.09.
It was the worst performance Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:) that fell 7.14% to 127.90 in late trading, MarketAxess Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) that lost 5.38% to settle at 238.53 and Edwards Lifesciences Corp (NYSE:) which fell 4.88% to 88.79 at the close.
The best performing NASDAQ Composite was Acquisition of Ventoux CCM Corp (NASDAQ:) which rose 54.61% to 7.05, Purple Innovation Inc (NASDAQ:) which rose 39.43% to settle at 3.89 and troika media group Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 which rose 33.28% to close at 0.40.
It was the worst performance VIRUS THERAPEUTICS LLC (NASDAQ:) which fell 77.20% to 2.00 in late trading, Golden Path Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ 🙂 which lost 64.92% to settle at 2.95 and Panbela Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 which lost 46.09% to 0.31 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks on the New York Stock Exchange by 1874 until 1252 and 134 closed unchanged; On the Nasdaq, it fell 2093 and rose 1726, while it finished 244 unchanged.

Shares in Golden Path Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ:) hit all-time lows; down 64.92%, or 5.46, to 2.95. Shares of Panbela Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:) fell to all-time lows; down 46.09%, or 0.27, to 0.31.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.06%, or 1.05, to $1,684.55 an ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude oil for November delivery rose 0.47%, or 0.40, to $85.16 a barrel, while Brent oil for November rose 0.60%, or 0.55, to trade at $91.90 a barrel.
EUR/USD remained unchanged 0.05% to 1.00, while USD/JPY rose 0.24% to 143.26.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.13% to 109.37.
