The Endurance, an electric pickup truck and flagship vehicle from Lordstown Motors Corp. (NASDAQ:), has reached the semifinals of this year’s North American Truck Award. Its truck competitors are the Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 and Ford’s F-150 Lightning, according to the North American Automotive, Truck and Utility Organization.
“This year’s line-up of semi-finalists highlights the changes we’ve seen sweeping the auto industry in recent years: most mainstream cars now fall into the utility class; most cars in the automotive class focus on performance or luxury; and more More electric cars are hitting the market than ever before.”
The next annual comparison is scheduled for October 17-20, where juries will evaluate the semi-finalists before voting to select three finalists in each group. The finalists will be announced on November 16 at the Los Angeles Auto Show and the winners will be announced at a special event on January 11 in Detroit.
