The Alicante sector of footwear components also travels to Milan

After attending the Premiรจre Vision Paris and Lineapelle New York fairs, now it is time to bring the novelties of the autumn-winter 2023-2024 season of the footwear components sector to Milan, where the fair will be held Lineapelle Milano Along with machinery and leather goods, Simac-Tanning Tech. Thirty-nine companies from the province of Alicante will be present at the event. Both fairs will be held from September 20 to 22 at the Fiera Milano-Rho fairgrounds, the first day of the event coinciding with the last day of the Micam-Mipel footwear and leather goods fair.

Lineapelle and Simac-Tanning Tech are currently one of the most important fair showcases worldwide and benchmarks in the market for machinery, components, leather and accessories for footwear and leather goods. The Lineapelle fair occupies six pavilions where visitors will be able to find tanning exhibitors in halls 11, 13 and 15, accessories and components exhibitors in halls 22 and 24, and fabric and synthetic exhibitors in hall 9. In this edition Lineapelle the number of exhibitors has improved by 15% in relation to the February 2022 edition. The organizers want to instill optimism in an economic moment characterized by deep uncertainties.

The participation of Spanish companies is being coordinated by the Spanish Association of Footwear and Leather Goods Components and Machinery Companies (AEC), which manages the participation of around fifty national firms, under the Footwear Components From Spain umbrella, occupying an extension of more than 1,900 square meters of the exhibition area of โ€‹โ€‹the Italian event. This event is included in the Sector Plan that AEC has with ICEX.

Among the participating companies there are 17 from Elche6 Crevillente, 8 from Petrer, 4 from Elda, 4 from Barcelona, โ€‹โ€‹3 from Arnedo, 1 from Alicante, 1 from Onil, 1 from Villena, 1 from Aspe, 1 from Almansa, 1 from Yecla and 1 from Zaragoza.

According to data from the fair, More than 1,100 exhibitors from 38 different countries will exhibitbeing 63% from Italy, followed by Spain with 7%, Turkey with 6%, Germany and Portugal with 3%, among others.

Regarding the sectors of participation, 51% are tanning companies, 32% accessories and components, 12% correspond to fabrics and synthetics, and the rest service and magazine companies.

Companies attend the fair with optimism, but with caution due to the unpredictable situation that is going through at the moment, with the repercussions of the war in Ukraine, the rise in prices of raw materials, the energy crisis, record inflation, among other factors, that affect everyone internationally. For the companies that attend the event, it is essential to exhibit at the most important fair in the sector at an international level, since the event offers them the opportunity to be able to physically exhibit the new autumn-winter 2023-2024 collections international visitors who attend the Italian event. It is necessary to maintain face-to-face contact with the international client to strengthen business, as well as to be able to expand the portfolio of international clients.
