Stock indices in Saudi Arabia fell at the end of today’s session;  general circulation down 0.54%

Investing.com – Saudi stocks fell after the close on Thursday, as sector and sector losses drove stocks lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, it fell 0.54% to hit a new one-month low.

The biggest gainers of the day were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 8.90% or 8.50 points and traded at 104.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (Tadawul:) added 5.88% or 0.50 points to close at 9.01 and Arab Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) stock rose 3.51% or 4.00 points and closed at 118.00 at the close of trading.

As for the worst performers at the end of trading today, the share of Bindawood Holding (TADAWUL:) closed down at 6.56% or 5.00 points and traded at 71.20 at the close. Shares of Sadr Logistics Co (TADAWUL) declined by 5.27% or 2.55 points to a price of 45.80, and the Saudi Cement Company (TADAWUL) share decreased by 5.02% or 2.80 points at a price of 53.00.

Declining shares outnumbered advancers on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 149 against 86, while 15 shares closed unchanged.

Shares of Bin Dawood Holding Company (Tadawul) fell to all-time lows. It lost 6.56% or 5.00 to 71.20.

Crude oil for October delivery fell 3.18%, or 2.81, to $85.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery was down 3.23% or $3.04 per barrel (91.06), while the December gold futures contract was down 0.78%, or 13.25, to trade at $1,695.85 an ounce.

EUR/SAR rose 0.14% to $3.76, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.76.

US Dollar Index futures fell 0.10% to 109.27.
