Investing.com – Japanese stocks rose after the close on Thursday, as sector and sector gains drove stocks higher.

At the close in Tokyo, it added 0.21%.

It was the best performance of the session on Shiseido Co., Ltd. (TYO :), which rose 2.47% or 124.00 points and had a price of 5,152.00 at the close. while, Sumitomo Real Estate & Development Corporation (TYO πŸ™‚ added 2.28% or 79.00 pips to close at 3,549.00 and Unitica Ltd. (TYO: up 2.24% or 6.00 pips at 274.00 at the end of trading.

The worst performance in the session was Toho Zinc Co., Ltd. (TYO :), which fell by 3.27% or 83.00 points, and its price was 2,453.00 at the close. Mitsubishi Logistics Corporation. (TYO πŸ™‚ It fell 2.48% or 90.00 points to close at 3,535.00 and Dentsu . Company (TYO πŸ™‚ It fell 2.31% or 100.00 points to 4235.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 1798 to 1,674 and 303 closed unchanged.

Which measures the implied volatility of Nikkei 225 options, up 13.06% to 20.69.

Crude oil for October delivery rose 0.25% or 0.22 to $88.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent oil for November delivery rose 0.12%, or 0.11 to $94.21 a barrel, while gold futures for December were down 0.75%, or $12.85, to trade at $1,696.25 an ounce.

USD/JPY rose 0.27% to 143.54, while EUR/JPY rose 0.21% to 143.20.

US dollar index futures rose 0.07% to 109.45.
