Stock indices in India fell at the end of today’s session;  Nifty 50 down 1.94%

Investing.com – Indian stocks fell after the close on Friday, as losses in India and sectors dragged stocks lower.

At the close on the New York Stock Exchange, the index fell by 1.94%, while the index was down by 1.82%.

It was the best performance of the session on IndusInd Bank (NS:), which rose 2.52% or 30.15 points, and traded at 1,226.00 at the close. while, Sibla (NS:) added 1.03% or 10.60 points to close at 1,043.90, and AXIS Bank Ltd (NS: NS:) was down 0.09% or 0.70 points at 789.30 at the end of trading.

As for the weaker performance at the end of the day’s trading, the stock of UPL Ltd (NS:) closed down at 5.28% or 39.20 points, and traded at 703.40 levels at the close. Tata Consumer Products Ltd (NS): fell 5.04%, or 42.20 points, to close at 795.20, Tech Mahindra Ltd (NS) is down 4.60% or 49.80 points at a price of 1033.20.

IndusInd Bank Ltd (BO:) which rose 2.63% to 1,227.50 was the best performer in BSE Sensex 30, AXIS Bank Ltd (BO:) which fell 0.04% to settle at 789.40 and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (BO: ) which lost 0.20% to close at 1,930.55.

The worst performers were UltraTech Cement Ltd (BO 🙂 which fell 4.51% to 6,481.15 in late trading, Tech Mahindra Ltd (BO 🙂 which lost 4.45% to settle at 1,034.30 and Infosys Ltd (BO 🙂 which fell by 3.69%. 1,379.15 at close.

Declining shares outnumbered rising stocks on the Indian National Stock Exchange by 1521 to 318 and 39 closed unchanged; On the Bombay Stock Exchange, it decreased by 2417 and rose by 942, while 101 closed unchanged.

Shares in Infosys Ltd (BO 🙂 fell to a 52-week low; It fell 3.69% or 52.90 to 1379.15.

The Nifty 50 Index, which measures the implied volatility of Nifty 50 options, rose 7.77% to 19.82.

Gold futures for December delivery were down 0.38%, or 6.35, to $1,670.95 an ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude oil for October delivery rose 0.40%, or $0.34, to $85.44 a barrel, while Brent oil for November rose 0.61%, or $0.55, to trade at $91.39 a barrel.

USD/INR fell 0.14% to 79.74, while EUR/INR fell 0.30% to 79.60.

US Dollar Index futures rose 0.17% to 109.64.
