Stock indices in India fell at the end of today’s session;  Nifty 50 down 0.05%

Investing.com – Indian stocks fell after the close on Tuesday, as losses in India and sectors drove stocks lower.

At the close on the NSE Stock Exchange, the index fell 0.05% to a new one-month low, while the index was down 0.07%.

It was the best performance of the session on Sibla (NS:), which rose 3.10% or 33.05 points and had a price of 1,098.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Tata Consumer Products Ltd stock added 2.48% or 19.40 points to close at 800.25 and IndusInd Bank (NS: up 2.11% or 24.20 points at 1,173.80 at the close of trading.

The worst performance in the session was MotoCorp Champion Ltd (NS:), which was down 3.05% or 83.10 points and traded at 2,638.25 at the close. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (NS): down 2.22%, or 19.20 points, at 844.20 and TATA Steel Ltd (NS:) was down 2.20% or 2.20 points at a price of 97.65.

The best performers in the BSE Sensex 30 were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (BO 🙂 which rose 1.81% to 204.90, and IndusInd Bank Ltd. (BO 🙂 which rose 1.32% to settle at 1,164.40 and Dr. BO 🙂 which rose by 1.29% to close at 4,185.70.

The worst performers were Tata Steel Ltd (BO 🙂 which fell 2.25% to 97.60 in late trading, Titan Company Ltd (BO 🙂 which lost 1.79% to settle at 2,606.95 and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (BO 🙂 which fell 1.52% to 1,801.25 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered decliners on the Indian National Stock Exchange by 1,058 to 764, while 54 closed unchanged; On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the price rose by 1797 and fell by 1467, while 130 ended unchanged.

Shares in Cipla Ltd. (NS 🙂 to an all-time high; It rose 3.10% or 33.05 to 1098.70.

Which measures the implied volatility of Nifty 50 options, down 1.48% to 21.57.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.67%, or 10.95, to $1,644.35 an ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude oil for November delivery rose 1.62% or 1.24 to $77.95 a barrel, while Brent oil for December rose 1.71% or 1.42 to trade at $84.28 a barrel.

USD/INR fell 0.11% to 81.54, while EUR/INR rose 0.29% to 78.63.

US Dollar Index futures fell 0.44% to 113.52.
