Le Coq Sportif is manufacturing again in Argentina with the help of Bicontinentar

The company is dedicated to manufacturing high-tech athletic shoes, running shoes, trekking shoes, casual shoes and soccer shoes.

In the hands of a new group of shareholders and in the name of Bicontinentar, the plant reopened on May 1, 2021, having closed its operations on December 31, 2018. At that time, the Brazilian group Paquetá Calçados made a voluntary withdrawal of the last 634 workers with 100% commitment and proceeded with the closure.

The brands in operation at the moment are: Under Armor, New Balance, Le Coq Sportif, Hush Puppies, Diadora, Montagne, Asics and Penalty, currently producing between 2,000 and 3,000 pairs of shoes per day, “So we are making an important contribution to the sports market, especially now with the World Cup approaching,” he said.
