(Reuters) – Air France subsidiary KLM on Friday criticized as “disappointing” a decision by Amsterdam’s Schivau Airport to impose additional restrictions on the number of departing passengers.
The company said in a statement that the short notice of this move will affect its passengers and its reputation.
“KLM will make every effort to ensure that passengers who have already booked tickets will in fact be able to travel,” she added, adding that those wishing to travel later can rebook their flights at no additional cost.
Airport authorities said the daily flow of passengers would drop by 18 percent until at least October 31 due to a shortage of workers.
