Here is the third season of “Fortnite” that ends on time and begins the fourth season

fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 has been running for almost the entire summer. In fact, the season started on June 5th, two weeks before the summer solstice. It ends, just two days before the official start of autumn.

We have some clues about the new season, which is called Heaven – although that title sounds ridiculous. While Vibin’s Season 3 title gave it fun summer vibes, Paradise is an odd setting for what seems to be a very scary season.

Weird liquid chrome is in every teaser image so far, and it looks like our heroes – and the map – might be getting sucked into the sticky, oily-looking stuff.

We will know more soon. The end of the third season is approaching, and the fourth season is at the door. Here’s what you need to know.

Season 3 officially ends on Sunday, September 18 at approximately 2 a.m. ET. This is 11pm on Saturday, September 17th if you’re in Pacific Time. That splits into 6 a.m. UTC on Sunday the 18th.

From here we can usually expect three or four hours downtime depending on the update, and of course you’ll need to update your game after Epic Games does its server-side magic.

Season 4 will start right after the servers are back online, so you should be up and running first thing on Sunday morning when you all wake up with bright eyes and bushy tails and ready to storm some Victory Royales.

We’ll cover the new Battle Pass, map changes, challenges, and anything else featured here at Forbes Games. I still hope Epic brings back decent challenges and fun stuff like loading screens and hidden battle stars or coins, but I try not to get my hopes up.

Modernization:

Here’s what we know about Chapter 4 so far based on leaks, rumors, teasers, and official announcements from Epic Games.

Battle Pass Skins

Gwen Stacy

We know for sure that there will be a Gwen Stacy Spider-Man skin that appears to have the awesome animation and glossy shading used for cool shading. Spider-Man inside the spider world Movie (one of my favorite Spidey movies of all time).

Gothic Meowscles

We also know there’s a Goth Meowscles skin, perfect for Halloween, although the “muscle” in the cat’s name seems like a misnomer at this point. Gothic Meowscles was not torn in any sense of the word.

Sports chrome third skin hands could be a part of the Battle Pass as well, thanks to what we’ve seen in the teasers (although this is taken with a grain of salt, naturally).

The popular streaming device SypherPK has finally gotten its own Icon Series skin, although it won’t be part of the Battle Pass. In the image of the new skin, there is also a new AR scope or tactical rifle of some sort, so expect it to be one of the new weapons in Chapter 4, Season 4.

Other changes we can expect are lots and lots of vines on the map, including chrome tornadoes that might be more like antiquities than relaying weather events. We should also see a bunch of balloons floating across the map as well.

Correction 22.00

The new patch 22.00 will drop when the game drops on Sunday, but as of this writing we don’t know the exact size of the update on each platform. I will update this post as soon as we know.

Live event

Unfortunately, there won’t be a live event to end Season 3 and start Season 4, which is definitely a huge shame. Fortnite live events are among the best out there and the highlight of every season. Hopefully we can have a big live event to finish Season 4 in a few months.
