Dow futures trading stable after indexes ended at 3-month lows

Investing.com – U.S. stock futures remained little changed during overnight trades on Sunday, after major reference averages closed the previous week at 3-month lows as higher interest rates and slowing global growth worsened risk sentiment.

By 7:00 PM EST (11:00 PM GMT) it was flat while declining by 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively.

Ahead of the week, market participants will pay special attention to a batch of speeches from Federal Reserve officials, including, while, personal, and they will also be closely watched.

During Friday’s trading, it lost 486.3 points, or 1.6%, to 29,590.4, and it fell 64.8 points, or 1.7%, to 3693.2 points, and it fell 198.9 points, or 1.7%, to 10867.9 points. Over the course of the week, the Dow Jones lost 3.8%, the S&P 500 lost 4.3%, and the Nasdaq lost 4.4%.

In the bond markets, interest rates rose to 3.691%, their highest since February 2011.
