Sony is now joining the ranks to compete with Disney and Universal with the first fully cinematic themed theme park set to open.
Sony has launched a conversion of the former website of Cartoon Network (WBD) Amazon Water Park in Na Chom Thien, Thailand, in the first amusement park. Cartoon Network’s Amazone Water Park opened in 2014, but stopped operating during the COVID-19 pandemic. It then announced that it would no longer operate as Cartoon Network Amazone and would be reinvented as Columbia Pictures Aquaverse with attractions revolving around Sony Pictures movies.

The pandemic has delayed a lot of projects, and Sony Pictures theme park is no different. The opening of the Columbia Pictures Aquaverse, which was delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak, is still preparing attractions for its guests.
The attractions that will come next are Bad Boys, Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs, and Zombieland. The Go-Kart race track assigned to Bad Boys is still in the works. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs it would be a lazy river and a huge pool with three huge TV screens. The Zombieland Zone will experience a series of terrifying waterslides.
The Ghostbusters Zone consists of three rounds, the Proton Stream, the Ghost Trap Adventure, and the Slimer Speed โโRacer. Jumanji Zone is a group of water slides, including Jaguar Mountain, which sends riders 55 feet towards the widening mouth of Jaguar. The Jungle Stampede is a water slide that runs through a water tunnel and shoots riders out of the mouth of a hippo at the end. The Viper has unexpected twists and turns that may drop you at an unexpected time, so be alert when riding this waterslide.
Hotel Transylvania is a kid-friendly water park with more than 100 water features such as sprinklers, foundations, and nine slides. This themed waterfront area features tons of photo shoots with Dracula and the gang!
