Investing.com – Danish stocks fell after the close on Thursday, as losses in India and sectors drove stocks lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, it lost 2.14% to hit a new one-month low.
It was the best performance of the session on Danske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.22% or 3.35 points and traded at 107.20 at the close. while, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 2.21% or 9.50 points to close at 438.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) stock rose 0.03% or 0.05 points to 168.80 at the close of trading.
As for the weakest performers at the end of trading today, AP Moeller – Maersk A / SA (CSE:) stock closed down at 4.07% or 630.00 points and traded at 14,860.00 levels at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE: down 4.01% or 645.00 points at 15,455.00 and Chr Hansen Holding Company A/S (CSE:) fell 3.70% or 15.00 points to 390.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered advancing stocks on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 69, while 16 closed unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/SA (CSE 🙂 fell to a 52-week low; It loses 4.07% or 630.00 to 14860.00. Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) rose to a 5-year high; It rose 2.21%, or 9.50, to 438.50. Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE 🙂 fell to a 52-week low; A loss of 4.01% or 645.00 to 15455.00. Shares in Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; It fell 3.70% or 15.00 to 390.00.
Crude oil for October delivery fell 3.48%, or 3.08, to $85.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent oil for November delivery fell 3.26%, or 3.07, to $91.03 a barrel, while gold futures for December were down 1.88%, or $32.05, to trade at $1,677.05 an ounce.
USD/DKK fell 0.12% to 7.44, while EUR/DKK was unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.
US Dollar Index futures rose 0.02% to 109.39.
