Caesars Las Vegas Strip Casino brings back the legend of music

Celebrities in Las Vegas never die.

You can watch hologram versions of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston on the Las Vegas Strip while tribute shows feature artists from across the city’s history. It’s not uncommon to see a play that pays homage to Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, Madonna, the Bee Gees, and pretty much any star you can think of (some alive, some dead) all rolled into one performance,

Vegas icons like Frank Sinatra haven’t stopped popping up in various forms all over the city, but as these icons have progressed into history, Las Vegas has brought on a host of artists that appeal to younger clients (that word is relative).

This is why acts like Sting, Aerosmith, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and every famous DJ have set up on the Las Vegas Strip. Tourists in their 30s, 40s, and 50s know more about these businesses than they do Elvis or Sinatra, and Las Vegas has adapted with the times.

Now, the famous musician and his most famous work – an album that is one of the most played albums in recorded music history – are coming to Las Vegas.

Caesar flies like a ‘bat from hell’

Meat Luv was an imported rock star. His record “Bat Out of Hell”, released in 1977, made him a huge star with his stage productions and rock-opera-like storytelling.

After a slow start and mixed reviews, “Bat Out of Hell” has become one of the best-selling albums in history, with worldwide sales exceeding 40 million copies,” Billboard reported when the singer passed away in January,Bat Out of Hell spent 82 weeks on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 14, and spawning three Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Two of Three Ain’t Bad” ranking highest at number 11.”

And while Meat Love will never reach those heights again, he has recorded a number of other hit songs while “Bat Out of Hell” became a kind of genius act. Everyone of a certain age knew the album and many of their children became fans of it too. A very high percentage of Americans can sing along with the song “I took the words straight out of my mouth,” and “Heaven is through the dashboard light.”

Now, a new show based on the singer’s most famous work has opened as a musical theater at Caesars Entertainment’s (CZR) Paris Las Vegas Resort / Casino.

Paris Las Vegas puts meatloaf on the menu

And while musicals dedicated to famous artists have long been a Broadway thing, Caesars seems to have planned for something more than just the artist’s songs. The show just started in Paris Las Vegas. It was described as “a fiery rock and roll like never before on the Las Vegas strip,” in a press release.

The show will take place at Caesars Hotel Tuesday-Thursday at 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets starting at $49 plus applicable taxes and fees.

โ€œThe newly equipped theater designed to display over 112 still objects is the perfect immersive backdrop for transporting audiences to a post-apocalyptic city filled with forbidden love, rebellious youth and unexpected moments of humor as narrated by the 26-member team singing,โ€ according to the press release.

The performances will take place at the Paris Theatre.

Bat Out of Hell – The Musical is a Rocky-Horror, Romeo and Juliet celebration of star-crossed lovers from opposite sides of captured paths in a city teetering on the brink of disaster. When Raven falls in love with the Rebel Strat, all bets are off on a storyline. Love at any cost, a rock and rollcoaster built on uncompromising youth,” Caesars shared on the Paris Las Vegas website.
